At Lee’s Summit West High School, he excelled in football, baseball, and basketball. As a senior wide receiver, Harrison recorded 60 receptions for 1,007 yards and 13 touchdowns, alongside 198 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. His remarkable performance on the field garnered attention from top college football programs, leading him to commit to the University of Nebraska in July 2013. Simultaneously, Harrison’s prowess in baseball did not go unnoticed. He was considered one of the top prospects for the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft. Opting to pursue a professional baseball career, he was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the second round of the draft, forgoing his college football commitment.
